second router

I'm planning my second router. where is the best place to get linear bearings and ball screws? Thanks Dan

It really depends what you're looking for (e.g. small vs. big, cheap Chinese vs. high quality, etc.). Do you really want linear bearings (the traditional definition being a bearing that runs on a precision round guide rod), or do you want v-groove bearings to run on rails?
If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?

Awsom.... it really doesn't matter what configuration rail and bearing i use. i'll design around whatever i get. i'm retired and this is just a hobby so cost is a factor.
Size will be X=48" Y=36 Z=18" approx.
I'm a retired tool amd die maker with a complete hobby machine shop so anything goes on this one within reason and budget.
i don't have a Thompson budget and the Chinese stuff has a high shipping and return so that's where i'm at with this project Thanks Dan
