Problems with new Parallel Printer card

Hello Everyone,

A friend has upgraded his PC and now he can't get his machine to work. :o :o :o

I have checked that he has imported his Mach3 configuration correctly and I think the problem is with his new Parallel Printer card. He has installed this card into his new PC:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/For-Modes-of- ... n_GB(en_GB)&cnac=GB&mail=sys&e=op&unp_tpcid=email-receipt-auction-payment&ppid=PPX000608&calf=5941093d62785&calc=5941093d62785&pgrp=main:email&unptid=d66f6da8-eeb8-11e6-9b8b-441ea14ee788&mchn=em&t=&s=ci&page=main:email&cal=5941093d62785&cust=

I know from personal experience the problems one can have with the Parallel port and I was wondering if there was a list of what cards work or the correct spec when purchasing a new Parallel card?

Can anyone help? :)

Thanks, :D

One of the common problems is that if he upgraded to a newer 64-bit version of the operating system, Mach 3's parallel port drivers don't work. You can check whether Windows is 32 or 64 bit in the System control panel.
If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?
